PERFORMANCE IN MOTORSPORT IS ALWAYS A TEAM EFFORT

In the life of a motorsport driver there is always room for adrenaline, little for improvisation.
Talent, skill, and both technical and physical abilities must be nurtured continuously, season after season, race after race.

Endurance is, therefore, the key focus: at Athletica Cetilar – Performance Center, driver training follows a multidisciplinary approach designed to maximize physical, athletic, and mental potential, tailored to the unique needs of the individual driver, focusing on enhancing strengths and improving weaknesses.
There are no one-size-fits-all solutions here, every training plan is customized based on the driver’s specific needs, characteristics, and goals.

Though motorsport may appear to be an individual endeavor, with only one person at the wheel, racing performance is truly a team effort and is influenced by many critical factors: from athletic, mental and physical conditioning to physiotherapy, nutrition, and hydration; from mental approach strategies to personalized injury prevention programs.

In recent years, our team of professionals has worked with hundreds of drivers, including Fernando Alonso, Charles Leclerc, Robert Kubica, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (F1), Antonio Da Costa, Maximilian Gunther (F.E), Danilo Petrucci, Jack Miller, Scott Redding (Moto GP and SuperBike) and many others.

OUR SERVICES FOR MOTORSPORT DRIVERS

Athletica Cetilar is a destination for training young Kart drivers. The specialized training and extensive experience of our professionals in this category mean that we can guide young athletes through every stage of their development in motorsport, starting from a very young age and supporting them until they reach their competitive peak, addressing every aspect, whether physical, mental, nutritional or physiotherapy-related.

For aspiring professional drivers, the journey begins with an initial information-gathering assessment lasting two to three days, during which we conduct comprehensive athletic, mental, and physical evaluations, create a personalized training program to follow at home, and focus on establishing the correct behaviors to adopt during a race weekend, including developing a pre-driving routine.

Based on the insights gathered during this first meeting, we will work together to design a tailored plan for the future, including the crucial aspect of online training, guided by our expert trainers at Athletica Cetilar.

To provide continuous support and guidance to drivers throughout the championship and during off-season breaks, Athletica Cetilar offers a remote training monitoring service alongside an online athletic and mental training program. Using advanced devices, software, and platforms, we can work with our athletes at any location, tracking their mental and physical performance in real-time, collecting valuable performance data, and adjusting or enhancing their training plans based on individual needs.

This service is especially beneficial for younger drivers, who can rely on their personal trainer to guide and motivate their development, fostering a deeper, more trusting and supportive relationship.

For complete, on-track assistance, Athletica Cetilar also provides the option of having a physiotherapist or trainer present directly on the track. This professional will oversee all aspects of nutrition and hydration, the administration of supplements, and a specific warm-up before driving, as well as provide recovery therapies post-race, including stretching, massages, and physiotherapy treatments.

Our years of experience in motorsport have led to us organizing training camps, both in Italy and abroad, on snow or at sea, catering to drivers of all categories and ages.

These group training sessions combine intense physical workouts with engaging activities, creating a balanced mix of team-building games, study and practical learning. The ultimate goal is to enhance the athlete's mental and physical condition, improve team communication and dynamics, and develop the ability to manage stress, adrenaline, and the pressure of competition.
Testing themselves and challenging one another away from the race track, in a fun setting where collaboration and competition work hand-in-hand, always allows athletes to grow from an athletic, professional, and human point of view.
